I have never been addicted to anything except prescription drug addiction. I’m only kidding. When I had my baby through C-section though, it was the only time I had been asking for medication as much as I am supposed to everytime I feel the pain through my incision. I had thought it would be bad for me to get too dependent on it, but the doctor advised me to ask for it even before it strikes again so I won’t suffer. After I was discharged I had been trying to lie low on it especially when I wasn’t taking the strongest type of pain reliever anymore. I got the prescription drug at home and couldn’t believe I finished the bottle of caplets even before the pain was completely over. I had told myself to never have the same surgery again which means no more babies in the future. I’m all done with just one.
